Unless you have some contacts in A&E you are unlikely to get in there. The NHS and a number of other bodies don't like army medics - don't ask, it'll take too long. Even if they say yes you have to deal with all the CRB stuff, which is a joy in itself.

I must admit I only know one guy who did the USA route and he is away for a while. He had years and qualifications under his belt but to be NREMT makes an extra difference from rest in the field. All you can do is log onto Google and start the long search. But I say again it is not cheap! We are talking lots of thousands.

The only other thing to think about is once you pass you have to spend £££ on getting all the gear! There are ways of getting around the price but in general you be forking out well over £700.
