well if you are looking for work in Russia you must have valid firearms license and fluent Russian.
Most of close protection officers that are working in Eastern Europe must have valid licenses to carry and use firearms, they also must be trained in martial arts have previous special forces experience (if you want to get good contract) . And also very important they must be multi-linguists..
When i had contract in Lithuanian Republic with businessman,he required 3 bodyguards that where armed ,and from special forces.
So i think if you are looking into contract in Eastern Europe you should find good company out there.
