I can see the point behind it for command and control purposes but not really inside a club. The wearing of high vis jackets can work at chucking out time and on the front door.
1 helps the doormen see each other
2 helps the police to identify the door staff and assist where necessary in an emergency
3 lets members of the public easily identify the door staff when they need assistance (this can be double edged sword)
As I said I have never seen Jackets indoors but have used Hi Vis for event security tasks in the past to good effect. Also the light weight bib types for the indoor staff at events.
Cant say in my experience it has increased or decreased the public order problems but it does assist C&C immeasurably.
