They (and others ) generally ask for relevant military service (usually a recent tour), some HE experience...
NI (when it was dodgy) Balkans (Kos and Bos) .. Iraq, Afghan, Sierra Leone etc etc... or relevant
PSD experience within HE within the last 5 yrs.... this is down to insurance reasons mostly.
