Look Son , Its been said already that the SIA is a no go till your 18 so if you have a little bit off cash or decent parents, use the next year to get fit , go and Travel, see a bit off the World if not Europe cause that's when you will start to learn about life and various cultures when your parents (hopefully you still have them) let the collar off and I believe it will put you in good stead for a career as a Marine, good choice by the way even though they wear a Green Lid !!! lol !!! and all the best for the future, stay safe !
