Jay contact Meido training...this is an organisation I would suggest to you that understands the intracacies of Discrimination and Fair play within business.
Remember my previous comments on this forum: Being a good Soldier etc etc does not always translate into being a good businessman or good project manager.
I am certain that if you want or wish to part with your cash in order to improve your chances and PERHAPS further your career and of course you are a grown up, then someone out there with some common sense will pick up the mantle.
THEY won't make any promises to you about further or future employment but I would suggest to you that they would be in a position to discuss your requirements with regard to extra or pre-course training to bring you up to a minimum standard.
Mate...Radio procedure is not Rocket Science! dont allow it to become a barrier..
