With regards to the future. what area do you consider working in? In the UK the above mentioned courses have merit, but are you considering overseas roles? Unfortunately most of the UK based courses and qualifications have yet to become popularly recognised outside of Europe. If you are considering non- European work then potential employers set more importance to US courses. There is nothing wrong with the UK courses mind, and in time they will become as recognised I'm sure, but at this time and for the forseeable future the US courses are the ones potential employers want. The ASIS CPP is a good security management qualification, and can be done by distance learning, there are ASIS chapters all over the world and provide good networking opportunities. Other than that possibly look at American Military University's security management course section.
