The PSCAI is a non profit organisation and they say they are assisting PSC'S
in growing their buissenes in Iraq!
And my question is "how they assist coy's and what can they do for them?
Does it have any advantage for a coy to join them or is it just a thing like the sia you have to go through?

Hi Legioner,

There is no mandatory requirement for anyone or any Company to join this organisation. It is more a voluntary set up, where a number of Companies got together to try so far as possible, to standardise operations in Iraq. Not entirely sure how they as an organisation could, in reality, help in business growth, as they are all basically competitors. Hope this helps.

Thats exactly what i had in mind!
The PSCAI is a orgainastion composed out of the coy's operating in iraq,
why a coy operating there would help another one in growing or getting a contract?
So far i don't know what it is exactly or what they do but it seems a bit
like we just want to know who is here and what he's doing!
So at the end quiet useless!!

Or am i wrong?

In my personal opinion, it was a reasonably sound idea to start with, it was so there could be more of united front in discussing policies with the Iraqi Govt, ROEs, weapons carry permits etc. But I am led to believe that there have been some 'fallings out', court cases and the like, so to be perfectly honest I am not 100 per cent sure what the exact state of play is just now. But let's just say I would not totally disagree with your observation Legioner!

Wasnt the PSCAI a open members site,and is it me, but this has changed now,sorry for being a bit blonde,but i came back to the uk went to log in and cant any more,is their a reason now for this, chears and stay safe ram out.
