hi guys im going to retrain in oct should be intresting check out my clients web site marlene aguilar.com i havnt done any courses for over 8yrs now i belive we should be at least tested every 2yrs dont you think?

Spot on mate, people seem to think that the work will fall into their laps!

we work in a flooded market & every point when you contact a company for work will either be a bonus or negative point on the selection for contracts.

How many companies have CPO's contact them & ask who they should send their CV to?

The older members of the curcuit must remember when we used to contact the company, explain who we were, ask if they were accepting CV's at that time & if so who should we send it to!

It gave you a point of contact within the company & your introductory letter was addressed to a person & you had a reference with your telephone conversation.

Also, who remembers buying top quality writing paper with matching envelopes to post your CV off, ensuring it was written in the third person & you would get a couple of people to read it looking for spelling & grammar error.
