I know there was some talk here a while back about not putting to much personal information on your CV in case it fell into the wrong hands.

Well I was sitting here (dossing) in front of the computer looking through old website bookmarks. I took a look at the site of a well known Bodyguard training company, don't want to say which one but you will probably all have heard of it.

One of the Main Page options was CVs, I thought that looked interesting so clicked on it and then onto one random CV.

The CV is just that, a full CV including the name, address, DOB, work / training history for a chap living over here in N. Ireland. Not only do I learn where he went to school but also that he is a member of the TA and has been shooting regularly so most likely has a FAC and firearms at home!!

Some peoples lack of personal security when they are supposed be security professionals just amazes me!

Not sure I take your point, it's not a "mistake", it's just stupidity for anyone to post such information anywhere that public, name, address, phone number and the fact that he is likely to keep pistols in the house and is in the armed forces, especially in N. Ireland !

yoda will become famous soon enoughyoda will become famous soon enough
Unfortunately you don't understand the security issue in N.I. Lietuvis (i read your thread about working in N.I.), there are certain factions that still operate there and that sort of information will get you and even worse possibly your principle killed.

Just like i possibly don't understand certain issues were you operate.
