Check out the city and guilds website for 7303 and 7302 from there you can get a list of trainers close to you or speak to the training companies on here who will point you in the right direction.

I would like to play the paranoid fellow that i am and point out that if the bad guy see these, they can see what we do and what we don;t do and accordingly plan.

These docs should not be out in the open.

Well you have got a good point, unfortunately whats to say that the bad guys go and do a CP/HE/PSD/RMP course.

It's a known fact that PIRA members joined the British Army get trained and then go AWOL in the name of the cause.

An old saying in NI by the bad guys "we only have to be lucky once you have to be lucky all the time", if you know you job hopefuly you will avoid the bad guys, don't know.

Ref the tin hat, i would prefer kevlar, move with the times mate.

To answer you. There are some things that are in our control to make it more difficult for the bad guys; posting surveys of this sort on a public forum, even with the best intentions is handing it to them on a platter. We should limit what we can.

It is a phenomenon over the past several years the US gang members (street gangs) are joining the US Army to gain combat experience that they then take back to the street. I hear what you;re saying.

Regarding the NI saying, it's a good one, but the common enemy that we're all facing now is not as you saw in NI, rather fundamentalists that have a desire to die. Big difference mate, big difference.

The tin hat reference is a reference to the "paranoid" and has nothing to do with an actual hat :-)

I have no interest in telling anyone what they can or cannot post here, not my place and noone would listen :-) BUT in order to keep our defenses strong we MUST think like the enemy and make things as difficult as possible for them.

If members here want to take the lesson, great, it's free, if not, that's each and every one of yours perogative.

These are basic survey templates MTS. As for saying they should not be out in the open, I beg to differ.

These docs are available to anyone who wishes to look for them, downloads are available on the net 100's of places elsewhere.... you could buy one of the 753 Security Manuals on Amazon here:

Thinking they could be used by the bad guys as you say is a little simplistic in my honest opinion. Do you really think they (bad guys) hadn't thought of all of this already? In fact their recce's/intel sometimes take years via sleeper cells within the National framework. I somehow feel this is not handing it to them on a platter.

Preaching to others under the pretext of OPSEC regarding basic survey templates that in fact anyone can get hold of via a quick google search is little extreme in this case.

Common sense is the common denominator here.

I thank the lads for taking the time to post them for free so others starting out can get the gist of survey formats. Nice one lads.

No offence taken and thats what the site is about mate.

Well with ref to the different type of people that we are dealing with, yes you are right these people are fundamentalist correct. And how have these people started, how was the state of Israel born.

The way people go about achieving there goals as changed the principles are still the same.

At the end of the day you cannot think that these fundamentalist are stupid, in a few hours it will be the 11th of September. That was not the work of stupid people was it, i think they know how to find the information and know how if they really want to.
