Just now the most scary explosives in Iraq, since they penetrate all armored vehicles? And exit the vehicle and leave alot of damages. This report if for study report only, to give people a update about IEDīs and EFPīs. If someone seems its wrong in showing it here dont hesitate to remove it. EFP's are not a new weapon the IRA were using a very similar home made shaped charge back in the late 80's early 90's when I was with WIS. However I have forgot the TLA for it (TLA = three letter abreviation)
As for removing this info it is only photo's and the bad boys already know this stuff! Not many people see them before they explode!!!! |

Neil
If you mean the IAAG Improvise anti armour grendade which was thrown you would be right but I was talking about another device similar in all respects to an EFP and the incident I dealt with involved a **** Opsec don't want to give the enemy any more ideas. But the IRA still had what we all now know today as EFP's but known by a differnt abbreviation I'll find out what the Brit Mil call them and let us all know. |

The PRIG (Projectile Recoiless Improvised Grenade) was more like an RPG than a EFP.
Give away sign was the pack of Richtea biscuits and J Cloth spread over 30m behind the firing point. |
