Could anyone recommend me a few good books that could be relevent to someone wanting to get into CP? There's 100s on security and CP but I have no idea which are worth reading.

There is a book by Peter Constantine about CP and the techniques, the name escapes me but it is constantly updated. I have a copy of a book by Leroy Thompson entitled 'the bodyguard manual', not bad for a yank but good techniques and suggestions in there.
My latest buy was a book from the USA about counter-suicide bombers, entitled: 'the citizens guide to stopping suicide attackers' written by Italy Gil and Dan Baron. Italy is ex Israeli Defence Force and his resume reads like some action hero from Hollywood. Excellent follow up reading to any close protection manual and very prevalent in todays society.

Go Peter Constantine for heads up on techniques and training. Co-incidenatlly, I posted a word document about anagrams and information needed to conduct CP on here....search and ye shall find. This will be useful on your courses.
