Devs85. I am also still waiting for my sia licence, but it still did not stop me from getting a job with CRG on the FCO Contract in Baghdad. CRG accept the licence application number which the SIA should have sent you. However if you opt for CRG, hey may well insist that you do their HEPCO course. Depends on your background and previous experience.

if you do get in touch with CR (G) and they get in touch with you, possibly to say yey or nay and you get an interview? that is where you say you are NOT prepared to do the HECPO as you have satisfied the Security Governing Body (SIA) of your competance and that you have already completed time in Theatre as an operator. they have guys leaving all the while? because of pay issues. why pay them £2000 for a Job??? that is personal experience.
9 times out of 10 they will still take you mate.

Of course there are others who have completed the courses and are still waiting for the guaranteed job 18 months later.... again word to the wise ... there is no such thing as a guaranteed position upon completion of training, regardless of the company... beware folks

Been in touch with Dave Knowles recently and have mailed him with regards to there Global Embassy work. So just on a waitout at the moment.Cheers
