Having watched the threads over the past month or so it seems a lot of members from the site have attended or are about to attend briefing days, open mornings and interviews with various companies, including Nemesis, Armor Gp and The Longmoor Gp.

I haven't yet seen any feeback (am I looking in the wrong areas?) from people who have let it be known on the site that they were attending or have attended these briefings.

Just a thought but if you've attended a briefing/open day how about writing a short piece on what was discussed, courses offered, fees, places used for training, packages, after course employment opportunities and how the day was put together. Was it worthwhile attending, were there too many war stories or was it to the point and no bullsh*t?

It would help those considering entering the employment field, they could dismiss the more 'gung ho' briefings and concentrate on the professional packages. If one company is guarenteeing employment after completing their course, let us all know about it.

Anyone else got any views on this? Mally/CM, is there an area already set aside for this sort of thing, or could it just be a general thread when people have something to say?

Great suggestion. I don't want to create another category, as we have probably too many as it is but I ebcourage members to add their experiences
