Recently I read a thread about Holsters, so here is a quick report of some new gear we have that may be of interest to people seeking 'custom' equipment.
Report I needed a new composite belt holster to fit my carry HKP30 (new pistol with not many accessories available yet). After searching high and low I had little luck outside blackhawk. By accident I stumbled across CompTac, a quick look at the site, 1 phone call and I had ordered a custom made composite holster. Cost including shipping and taxes came to $92. Full communication and top customer service all the way, this kit is top notch, a bit like running your palm over the bonnet of an Aston Martin compared to a bonnet of a Skoda Rapid ( not that I have ever owned an Aston Martin ). The draw is smooth and the right angle. So, if your looking for good kit, a wide selection, good delivery times and fantastic no bull customer service, check out CompTac at Comp-Tac Last edited by Edelweiss Tactical; 25-02-2008 at 10:54 AM. The p30 is a great weapon, however I found the transition from the glock very difficult and my accuracy suffered.
What are your thoughts on thigh holsters, have you got one for your p30? p.s skoda's a good car!!! |

Use of drop leg rigs are entirely down to the tasking and environment that 'Armed' operators have to work in. My thoughts are min' level 2 rig with preference being level 3 rig.
ps did I mention Skoda wasn't a good car? Last edited by Edelweiss Tactical; 28-02-2008 at 12:03 PM. Reason: spwoolin |
