The RAF Red Arrows have been banned from performing at the opening of the London olympics because they are 'to British' and it has been deemed they may offend other cultures!

This has been going around for a long time now. They say that it is nothing to do with the government but the London Olympic Committee.
Whoever is behind any scheme to shaft the people of this country should be hung out to dry.
It seems that we have short memories when it comes to election time, the promise of a cheap drink and 2p in your pocket from the government sends more messages than what crap they have dumped on us over the last ten years.
If ever there was a time to look back at history and see how and why we had uprisings then now is the time.
History has a way of repeating itself.

Our local radio did a feature on this months back. It was a story that appeared in The Sun. Neither the government or the Olympic committee knows anything about any ban other than it being reported in The Sun. The olympic committee said they hadn't even started to organise entertainment yet so hadn't approached or banned anyone.

Its just a case of The Sun trying to sell as many newspapers as possible by printing controversy whether its true or not.

I signed up to this petition when it was around before and read on the feedback that they had not even thought about it.
BUTIs that not the sort of thing they would do to piss us off.
That stupid cow of a Labour Minister was talking about the Proms not being right for the country, why shouldn't we be allowed to sing about or countries past history, it is something I am very proud of, and all the people who have given their lives to make us a great nation should never be forgotten.
Last year i was pissed off by people saying how sorry we were for our past with the slave trade, you take the rough with the smooth in history and learn not keep saying sorry. There are countries out there that have had it far worse and got on with their lives.
And while i am on my soap box what about the 4th plinth in Trafalgar Square should it not also be a monument to one of our past hero's.
