I've been told that before going to interviews with certain companies, its best to take recent medical , dental docs,service discharge papers and Enhanced CRB. Plus any certs you'd have
Is that correct? is that to much? would youi need to take anything else?

And just for the record, i haven't got an interview lined up but am just curious.

yes I havent seen any company yet that dosent ask for a criminal background check, and to go to your local police station every year and ask for a criminal register. ( update )
Have a passport ready, Driver license, Also many ask for a full health declaration given by a licensed doctor.
If you have foreign courses or diplomas, have them translated ( Europeans applying in UK for example).

All of the above is good to have to hand, also do some strong research of the company and heads of sheds,(Names of Heads of Departments Etc) they like to know you've taken some time to research there company.
Also SC Clearance and up to date vetting is good to have at hand.
References from work coleagues still serving may also help.
