good idea to call them.
But the regiment you can choose just after the four month basic training there are better regiments then the 2 rep, after all it depends on what you want.
If you realy do it don't get influenced in your regiment choise,you will be very lonley in the rep at corsica.But if you wanna be a paratrooper you will be alright there.

for the medical if you have flat feet i think it's not a problem if you can do the phisical test

I worked with a guy in the middle East who is ex-Legion and seems to do OK within the Industry. Are you sure you know what you are letting yourself in for Ronin9? Do you speak French as a second Laguage? Carl

Ronin9, about FFL especially about 2REP. I haw rejoin in legion 2003 end after mission in West Africa, Ivory Coast, operation Licorne, October 2004 until February 2005 I haw decide to go in civil life!!
The are a lot of if end maybes in FFl!! If you are fit end you want to get some military experience,if you want feel Africa, meet few friends, then don't think, rejoin to FFL.
Now few things that you need to now before you rejoin; Even if you are clever don't expect to haw light military carrier because over their more stupid lads haw more chance end bather life!!! They don't think end they stay over there longer!! No offense to lads that are longer there, I haw few lads that are more then clever, end working their job professionally, because of them ill be forever glad to work end live with FFL: Don't be shocked when you meet lads that are over their because they don't haw nothing to eat at home, or they are only waiting French passport!! I haw sen all this things!

You will see end do a lot of things that you can use in convoy escort, personal security end course a lot of residential security, but there is some small problem; you will not now that things before you,or bather said you will not be able to understand those thing when you are legionaries, they don't aloud you to think!! If you are not understated what I think here you are, to understand all terminology end things that you learned to do in FFL you will needed to make CP training or get at lass grad sergeant !!! I men, from may experience, you can ran convoy escort somewhere in Africa without to know your SOP's or covering personal security without hawing CAT team, I men thous mistakes are coming from your chef or captain because they don't think or they don't now those things!!! I men you will see a lot mistakes or wrong things over there, for example you are not aloud to jump on Corsica when wind is moor as 6m/s but you will jump when wind is 9m/s!!! End when you brake your backbone that stay your problem!!!
I'm not trying to get you a bed picture abut FFL I'm only tray to be honest the FFL is not something that you can experience on youtub or from anybody, you need go over there end get all alone!! You haw 4 month base training end then you can decade if you liked or not!!

in medically fit terms, would you say its easier or harder to get into the ffl than the brit army.
