Hi mate
It depends what kind of work you are planning on doing after the course as to which one you go on. I know Clearwater do agreements for flexi-payments for some courses in the UK. I have just done a course in Serbia with Morrigan Solutions. Because I didnt want an sia course and simply wanted to 'hone' a few existing skills I did a 'tailor made' course which worked out better for my budget. One thing I would say is do your homework on the course provider because cheap doesnt always mean best but if its just the SIA card you are after then so be it.
Speak to lildev about clearwater as she is on one of theirs now and she is doing well or pm me about Morrigan.
Best of luck mate

I echo above, cheaper is not the best solution. Look at Longmoor Group or Nemesis Group. personally I would steer clear of the course mentioned above that offer payment plans, not heard great things about them.

Thanks for the back up cpt291, the important thing is to see if the course you are looking at will fulfill your own personal needs. In this case (Clearwater) they allow payment plans which was what you were asking for. I agree there will be better courses (or as happens alot better hyped!!!) that hold a better impression on a cv. My personal opinion is ask questions before committing and look at some of the lesser known companies who may give a better instructor/student ratio and allow you to learn more skills. It is YOUR money and it sounds like you have a budgetary problem similar to mine before I came into this (the long haired sergeant-major gave me an allowance!!) so use it wisely and dont rush in. Give the £500 to your mum and add to it each month till you can afford a course.... it will give you more options of course next year and hence increase your buying power with the course providers.

For another option look at Regal Security Training, our partner company in the UK. They are well priced and sia compliant, ask to speak to Brummie there and he will offer you real advise. His course is 2100GBP ex accom, 2400GBP with.

Good luck
