Default course query

Hi guys

Il do my CP course soon. After studing the forum I found out that Ronin SA, Longmoor and Nemesis have good reputation.

Few questions:

I thought about Katana(CTR now)..whats wrong with them?
I'm a doorman for years, I have never been to army/police.
I want to work in UK/EUROPE or anywhere just not HE. What course would you suggest?
Do they have firearms on Nemesis one?

What are the chances to do some work for these companies after finishing the course?I mean are they big enough to recruit some people constantly after each course or are you on your own than?

Thanks for help
Regards
Lukas

Katana is no longer Katana, regardless run a mile, then get on a train and get even further away from them...

I believe Katana is now called CTG (Counter Threat Group).

Why you saying that? Have you had bad experiences? They seem to have bagged some good contracts.

Take care

I have also heard bad things about CTG, I would steer clear from them, as they are not highly regarded in the industry either.

By the nature of the work there are few companies out there that will offer work after training. Most of the comoanies should give you a help with your CV and a list of key contacts to help you find work.

if I was doing my time again I would go to Longmoor. I have heard nothing but good thingd of them here and on the circuit. I would also advise the firearms package as it wil be great fun and will leave more options open to you. They will are used to protecting diplomats and would ready you excellently for executive work.

Hi
Just finished the A course at Ronin UK wich includes the live firearms drills
everyone seems to think that this is the best course to go on - don't worry about not being military - there were two of us civvies on the course and did just as well or even better than the military backgrounders!
any security background is a bonus, it will all make sense whichever course you choose
Regarding employment - its all up to you to get your name on the Circuit - there is plenty of work in the UK and Dubai is looking at the moment
Its up to you buddy
add up the costs and make sure you get the BTEC Level 3 for Close Protection - that makes you a team leader!
Good Luck
Mark
