No 1 PTS RAF Abingdon

Own up all those that attended N0.1 PTS Parachute Training School RAF Abingdon.
It would be good to read stories of the old place.
If anybody says they were at Ringway I will need a rethink.

I never attended the PTS but did do a stint at Abingdon, Dalton Barracks as it was then (possibly still is)

Many an evening spent in the mucky duck and the other "salubrious" venues in the town! lol

I've done some miles round that feckin airfield. Was always good to watch williams F1 team testing on the airfield though.
