Hello PJA

Ronin are superb mate and you don't need me to tell you that..... their meds course is second to none and as far as rep goes....they don't get better.

Frankly the reason why we opened in Serbia was to be able to offer a value for money training facility that is as good, in many cases better than most.

We consider that we have succeeded in that aim, we would love you to come with us of course, but its your money.

If you need any advise or help in any way.... just drop us a line.

Best Regards

Marcus

Samson will become famous soon enough
I am not able to say who is better, but from an Israeli perspective I am Israeli CP/PSD trained, Israeli training is extremly intensive, not just in the weapons training and unarmed combat but also in tactics, protective surviellance etc. unfotunaltey due to Israel having been on a almost War status since its existance this is what they do best ! .
(I have also worked in Iraq since 2004 too)

David Meido is on a distinguished road
There is a whole range of CP / Psd training available, the important thing is that you find something that is designed to give you the tools that you need in the areas you are going to be working.

Whilst I have been out of the Israeli Circuit for many years, in my opinion (as an ex Israeli-para, and TL on Israeli consulate security team in Germany in 1980-81), the Israeli training courses are amongst the best in the world - if that is the sort of environment that you are going to be operating in. It is not just the skills, but the attitude of excellence and professionalism in what they do. If you follow an Israeli team around, they don't do much that any other team wouldn't do - but what they do they do really well, and even more importantly they maintain that level of focus for ever.

However, as noted, if you are going to be working for a UK outfit in the Iraq / Afghanistan regions, you are definitely going to need the sia license, which basically means using one of the companies that is advertising here on CPW.

If you are interested in talking to us at Meido, PM me, and good luck with the search.

David Meido

With regards to training in Israel I would definitely recommend it as an additional course- get your sia CP from one of the SIA capable training providers, pick a good one though- then do a course in Israel as it gives a different angle to the SIA side, even an SIA compliant with firearms course. Lets face it, you will not always work with other SIA licenced guys and there are multiple different ways CP is taught around the world. An additional overseas course would broaden your horizons to at least one other way of handling situations. But at this time I would recommend a UK SIA course first.

Talking about going abroad... is TASK Jordan any good? Is it worth it?

Also, are you allowed to ask an Israeli Immigration officer to NOT stamp your passport on arrival? Many people would know what I am asking this question..

Hello Belfort.

To be honest, i don;t know TASK, but if you're going as far as Jordan, just come to Israel. :-)

Yes, you can request not to have your passport stamped. This is common and acceptable. 99% of my students do that as they "travel" all around.

Hope that helps somewhat

The Damocles / Edelweiss Team for continuous personal and professional development as commitment to the 'art' train overseas at various locations 3-4 times a year, one of our favourite 'friends' is based in Israel. We highly rate training with the Israelis, the fight mentality and training concepts will allow you no matter what your previous experiences or skill level to tap into the amygdala (One of the known 32 parts of the brain that make you kick off).

To understand and develop your individual skills and mindset to the full potential you need to train objectively in different Styles, Systems, and Trainers.

Thanks for your post MST.

I am trying to understand this whole Israel thing... so, you just say to the officer that you don't want your passport stamped - What if asks the reason why? Can he feel offended by the question and refuse me entry?

I travel to the Middle East twice, sometimes 3 times a year, so I can't afford an Israeli stamp in my passport.

Also, where about in Israel... Tel Aviv?!

Can any of you guys, MST, please forward me the training provider and prices for it as I am really interested. Also, do they provide accommodation?

Thanks again everyone.
