American K9 have some academy in Dominican Rep. - they hire people after that...

Thanks Annie and Vespe..appreciate the tips..i took a look the websites gonna contact them and see what they say...at least now i am getting a better picture ...its good to know that there r companies using dog skills ...right now i need to find a good school in the UK to get a EDD dog qual. any one know any in the UK or Europe....?

Dear all K-9 guys and lady(s).Take a look at Ronco Consulting's website.They deploy patrol,EDD,NDD and mine detection dog handlers with a minimum of 2-3 years doghandler
experience.People from UK,have a look on Mine Tech's site for an address in UK,they have international contracts in the de-mining world and contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan as well.Many of the companies deploying EDD handlers in the middle east is also involved in the demining world and also give training.The first step to get into this K-9 world is always difficult untill you get your first contract,from there it just get easier.
