Assuming a two day affair with travel and accom.... a guess at costs!!

UK cost: 20-25 GBP

Serbia cost: 3-5 GBP (less if you have the lungs of a blacksmith and dont care what you smoke)
Serbia incidentally is chosen completely at random by methods known to one and all.... map and pin!! [ the worldwide map is too far away from my desk!!]

Drinks at the average rate of consumption allowing for toilet breaks and the odd slice of pizza.

UK costs: 50-60 GBP

Serbia costs: 15-20 GBP

Accommodation...... hmmm! tough one to compare.. B+B/ Travel lodge..... mates wardrobe!!

Assuming you have no mates or that their wardrobe is full of other mates (or not)

UK costs: 30-50 GBP

Serbia costs: 15-25 GBP (Serbian wardrobes being rather small and Serbian girlfriends/wives being 1: Rather pregnant and a tad on the tetchy side or...2: Female.....nuff said!! however Serbian balconies and Security Company offices are often available as temporary LUPs for free)

Travel costs. Since unlike here in Serbia.... you guys do not live all in the same village, one would assume that some mode of transport be necessary and costs thereof i would estimate as an average.

UK costs: 40-60 GBP (This assumes that you do actually return from whence you came. It follows therefore that should you decide to stay in your newly found home.....this cost is halved)

Flight to Serbia (actually Budapest coz its cheaper and only 3 hrs for us to drive to pick you up, 5 hrs at the border explaining on your behalf why your passport pic looks like a Swedish porn star and why you like to travel to all those 'interesting' places off the beaten track.!! Another hour exchanging stories about derring do over a tube or three before we set off!!)

I vote for stringys ... I live in Serbia these days so a bit dull for me to do it all over again, Irish Bar, Bastion , Kiss Club, Sting, Students Union and that little grotty place that plays local music (accordion stuff) but is open all night ...

Ok on a positive note we have secured the BBQ , Drinks and I will accommodate anyone who feels the need to ruin a perfectly good social event with company presentations (begrudgingly) ... I suppose it would be a useful tool for us all to discuss a few of the finer points of our industry ... never know we might even be able to iron out a few of the bitchy comments etc face to face.... so much easier to not get the wrong end of the stick when you know someones sense of humour (or lack thereof)

Let me know what presentation aids any of you will need and it shall be done....

I would do a presentation, however, it was an idea that began as a social event and should remain so, also I don't think many will find my presentations of:

"NAPOLEON!, his failures and successes, and how we cam learn from them, told via the medium of dance and finger puppets" and

"TRAINING, The Khmer Rouge way of getting the best from your students, also told via the medium of dance and finger puppets"

...would go down to well as they are both quite long.
