so taking on board what u all have said. i am seriously considering uni, and then if still interested in a career in security, join MDP with aiming for positions in CID or OSU. this gives me more than adequate firearms training. firearms is not an issue as far as competency goes i was in army cadets for 3yrs and spent lots of time on ranges (including sleeping on them too! pebbles r so uncomfy grr) i do understand y u would have concerns about handling firearms at my age. off topic but i booked my theory test 4 driving 2day

I would agree with all of the above study first and get a degree behind you its worth takeing a medics course also pls rember our work can be boreing a lot of the time if you have work! I started at 22yrs old and na i hav white hairs good luck what every way you go
