aston training ?

hi all aston training have moved to bridgend south wales and i want to know if they are any good they say they will pay for all my training i just got to pay a deposit can someone let me know if the company is good or a big no no

Welshman been tryin to get info on them myself but none given so far. I know there was a thread on here earlier but cant find it or remember what the outcome was.

yer mate i saw somthing a while ago i was offered trianing with the job centre i went to see them and they told me they will train me they said yes but i want to know if its a good choice

Mate stay away from them he has mad a lot of promises before and failed to deliver.

As I have said on a previous thread my mate did some courses with them. I went in to see them, cracking firm quite small but good quality, completed some courses which they did not take any deposits. Now doing some work for them. The boss is brilliant and I have had loads of help with my shifts to work around the fact I am a single parent. I have read various threads about Aston and I think people should reserve judgement until you meet them. Word of mouth does not constitute a contract so until you have it written in black and white, whatever you may or may not have been told is irrelevant!

If you are doing the training through the job centre mate then they will not use Aston they use us Training, Security and consultancy Services - Home


Maybe you should ask them who there awarding body is?

Only a month or two ago a mate of mine was doing some work and was let down in a big way ref £££. Stay away !! You dont need to touble !!

boys boys boys an old saying...you cant please all of the people all of the time !

I have just done a survelliance course with them and i thought it was tip top (this is my view !) the owner of the company passed my CV on to a friend of his (no promice of work !) i was offerd a job as a survelliance TL ..............RESULT !!! some of the other lads did a course with aston a while ago ( i will not shame the company that came in to train on there behalf as its unprofessional ) and they were not happy for several reasons. one lad i know said it was a bodged course and that was why Aston got rid of them !! But this is HEAR SAY and you find that people do tend to jump on the band wagon.........
JOB OFFERS.......in my experience in the PIT you have a job offer when its in writing and not a minute before.
i am a new member on here however i am a member on 3 other forums and have heard nothing bad about them
