I am not a lady put it depends on the situation and surrounding which direct the method of carriage. The Glock 19 is a good weapon for women also as it is smaller than the 17. If not suited and booted and deployed on ops I used to carry a Glock 17 in a bum bag holster.

As a female BG I always use a glock taurus its light with little kick back and a great ladies weapon, I use a shoulder hoslter or a back holster, handbags are not a good idea.
Hope this helps

FBG, what is a Glock Taurus?? Glock models are all numbered from 17 upwards. Taurus is a Brazillian manufacturer who make Beretta copies and Smith and Wesson style revolvers.

I think as with male operatives...
Whether you carry your weapon concealed or overt depends on local laws and regulations.

How to wear it depends on personal preferences, what weapon you carry, prefer to draw from belt/shoulder/back, and if it should be worn overt or covert.
Bearing in mind that drawing from shoulder is slowest and easiest to detect.

Personally I like the Israeli version of the Fobus holsters (for on the belt), you can wear them both overt and covert. They are sturdy, comfortable, cheap and hardwearing, and got a release button for your weapon (so the retention value is a lot lower).
Been in fights with my weapon in them and no way my opponent could retain my weapon from me. Nor did it slow me down drawing.

littlewoman will become famous soon enough
One big problem is that most women's clothing barely has anywhere to carry a hanky never mind conceal a weapon. Most women's trousers don't have belt loops or if they do they are there solely for fashion belts not ones designed to hold you trousers up. So you haven't really got anything strong enough to attach a holster to.
The original post does say 'conceal a pistol' not carry overtly, women's clothes are also often quite lightweight and designed to flow with the curves which may make a weapon hard to conceal.
Niton99 have something called a Belly Band holster. Its an stretchy band about the width of the length of a pistol with a section to put the gun in. So if would fit very snugly to the body. I imagine it can be worn so that the gun is at any point around the waist. It looks very good from a concealability point of view but it looks like the gun would be too high up to draw easily. Having said that, with someone who isn't a professional, is the difference in draw time going to make that much difference anyway. I would have thought they'd be diving for cover then getting the gun.
