Someone has asked a question (what a forum is for) and has met with ridicule. If you don't know an answer, now matter how dumb that question seems to a MORE EXPERIENCED PERSON, it is your professionalism to enlighten a person in a constructive manner or ignore the post. Trading insults is not only a last resort of a person that has no intelligent answer left but also is more about point scoring.

This forum is about helping people in a constructive way, not to gain a feeling of superiority over others. If you do not want to help or feel that your advice is not being listened to then it is that persons choice to ignore that advice and you should leave it at that. That is the mature and professional way to act in any environment.
