Sadly Usagi, it is not just "some weird user of this forum is commenting it for some obscur personel reason", there is a concerted effort to spam forums such as this one by people who join and make one post, and that one post contains word for word, the same spiel from the authors web site.

These posters are obviously connected to either the author or the publisher or both and are trying to pretend they have just read the book and liked it.

If I read a good book, no matter how good, I don't go online and randomly join at least four forums and make one post to each of them quoting the advertising blurb, as Mr JonSag has done.

Well you dont need to understand every word directly. If you will start reading over my words and start using brains you will understand what i mean.

Basically i dont say that it is "bad" but it is AT LEAST unethical to SPAM all over the place....

"Most forum spam consists of links, with the goal to increas search engine visibility. Some of these links contain code to track the spambot's identity if a sale goes through, when the spammer behind the spambot works on commission."

Also many regulations and ISP's prohibit it and fight it,and not without a reason. And as jcrymer pointed it very well we dont go and spam all over the place.

I'm sorry if I offended you, it was not my intention to go through rhetoric. I must say that I was a little upset that my first post commenting the book what associated with Jonsag by Jcrymer.

If indeed Jonsag is the author, I would find it sad that he used a questionable marketing technique such as spamming. It might well be the publisher without the authors knowing about it. But then, companies all over the world sell very good products using questionable commercial techniques. I've studied in Social Psychology so I know what I'm talking about.

The intention behind my post was only to tell people that, beyond the spamming technique, the book is still a very useful book and well written.

Best regards

Francois
