Never read it myself but all this spam about it just puts me off. Just Google the title and all you will find is posts in forums like the one made here (taken word for word from the books web site).

Hi everyone

Not to put some more oil on this debate but I would be really sad to know that Gavin de Becker's last book (Just Two Seconds) was discarded by anyone only because some weird user of this forum is commenting it for some obscur personel reason.

Lietuvis, before writting that maybe "the writer himself advertising something useless", I encourage you to go and seek some information about the author. Do you know who is Gavin de Becker? You might be surprised!

Also, I challenge anyone here to read that book and convice me that it is bad and useless.

I've already commented that book on this forum. And say it again, it is an excellent book.

By the way, you will notice that I always sign my posts so you can easily verify that I'm not the author of the book.

And, by the way, I'm really interested in knowing how in hell do "books talk for themselves" other than by having people who have read them commenting on forums like this one. When I walk in a bookstore, I assure you that books do not talk to me...
