Sorry but I have this question about Self Defense weapons, and I need to hear from whoever is an expert in here about this to put my mind at easy.

You as a CPO in UK, where firearms are not allowed to be carried us.. what sort of "weapon" that would be legal by UK laws that I could carry on me while working or there's none..?

Thanks.

There's none mate. If you carry any weapon which is made/adapted or intended to cause injury then its an offence.
Hertfordshire Constabulary - Basestation - offensive weapons

littlewoman will become famous soon enough
You can however do a training course to use Red DNA (Offender ID spray). There was a thread about this in the last couple of weeks.
It marks the offender with red dye with a unique DNA marker, but also if you get it in their eyes it will make it hard for them to see (the same as getting blood in your eyes). It doesn't harm them in any way and doesn't class as a weapon. It is approved by the Association of Chief Police Officers.

Its also worth bearing in mind that you can carry all sorts of items that might be used as weapons as long as you don't carry them for that purpose. With our unpredictable weather, its always advisable to carry an umbrella.
