Im out the army in Oct so im looking for a job to practically walk into. I know its a bit early yet but iv been in the army since school and i just hope i find a job.

As they say better to be to early than to late and miss a slot.

Who do you work for have you been working in the industry long

Craig been in the industry about 10 or 12 years and I am not x mill if you wanna go hostille enviroment you prob get job UK and EU mostly who you know will get you work net working is the best way but remember you must pass on leads to others even if only event stuff when it not busy like now that way people will pass you stuff

I know a few guys that are working in the IZ at the moment so getting in touch with them is prob the best bet.
Do you think i would be able to secure a job before i leave the army so i could just walk straight in or will companies not touch me untill my run out date witch is the 29 Oct 08

Hello Craig,

Craig do you realise that its not quite as easy as it first seems to break into the CP industry.

You are going to have to complete a civ CP course and then get an SIA qualification.

I wish you the best of luck mucker but there is alot of competition out there.

A lot of it tends to work on who you know and in the same who can be trusted. I have found that out from a number of placements. A lot of guys like to work together as they know and trust them well in the first place. Im sure there are a lot of good guys out there yet "undiscovered" but potentially a lot is at risk!
