Mally, is there a great deal of cp work available in UK at present?

if you do nothing and sit on your bum work will never come to you, you have to network, network and network, take the meanial jobs sometimes as they will lead onto other and better jobs. You will start to work with or see the same people on your own little circuit and thats what gets you work from other people working with you and calling you for work.

There is only as much work as you put the effort in

Appreciate your comments CPO445. It just strikes me that perhaps the market is somewhat saturated with CPOs or am I wrong in saying that?

Well john I suppose you are basically right but I dont think that should put anyone off. There may be quite a number of cpo's around but it does not mean that they are good cpo's, and the good do get noticed and then hopefully get a decent job. There are a number of jobs out there which are what you could call dead mans shoes, also weather we like it or not a lot depends on your background and who knows who. That is one of the reasons that people with no military or similar background find it so hard, but not impossible, to get work, they just dont have the contacts already in their little black book. Also about spring time everyone starts sorting there summer jobs out and in the summer their can be a number of jobs going, sometimes not the best but at least work and also work that gets you noticed.
