Haven't checked the site recently CM but the last time I did this role was for the PM position at the old 'Raymonds' contract, now being run by Aegis. This position has had a number of incumbents I believe since the contract was taken over, based on the idea that you have to have been ex-SF to do the PM role. I might be talking out of my bottom of course in which case I'll shut up but, if I was looking for a PM and the outsourcing wasn't working, I'd look to my most experienced TL and promote him upwards, in to the role. After all it isn't rocket science and it's exactly what the Raymonds team did when they had a changeover of PM's.
Incidently I never worked for Raymonds, just had a number of mates that did.

Our client is looking for a Project Manager for a position within Iraq.

The minimum requirements for the position are as follows:

- 12 years of military experience and
- 8 years as a member of an Rmp unit or SF and
- 3 years of commercial security management experience and
- Completion of an accredited military, national police armed Psd course or equivalent operational experience.

Rates are $547 per day

Rotations are 9 + 3

90 days paid leave per year

12 month contract

Hi Neil, I agree reference the promotion from within, it assists continuity of the methods already in place and also keeps a familiar feel for the clients , but of course each to their own.

The position was filled approx 8 weeks ago. They moved someone 'up' from within, which makes sense, as has already been re-iterated.
