For all those wishing to enter into the dangerous world of hostile environment work I believe it would be worthwhile to look at the following website. It is a partial list of PMC casualties in Iraq. I want people to go into these jobs with as much information as possible and the knowledge of the risks involved. It does not show the number of injured.

From peoples experiences is this list up to date or missing info.I looked at that site a year ago and found that it didn't report a few deaths which were reported elsewhere. Also do people feel some companies would not release "publicly" incidents of deaths or injuries.
R.I.P to those on the list. |

Its a partial list, meaning not all deaths are covered. In my opinion its probably got 70%. |

Guys, we are all big boys here (or girls) and for those of us who have been in this industry for sometime... we all know the risks... in the same way as we knew the risks at the sharp end of soldiering... or as we do when we take to the serious hills and mountains of the world... it is your chosen profession that's it.... and I am sure that I speak for many on this website when I say that we have all lost good friends be it in an HE, during military training and operations or adventurous activities... That's the discipline guys... that's the reality. I have no idea if this list is complete, it has been around since mid 2004 and it doesn't take into account those who have let's say for arguments sake....disappeared.
