Hi guys,

just come across this. 6 month contract for Save the Children in the Congo £27k +.

The closing date for applications is today so only 30 mins to apply, sorry. however might be worth applying if you have missed the deadline, the job isn't very well advertised (only on their website i believe) and they might have just had a handful of walter's who've watched to much tv and think their Rambo.

Introduction

Save the Children UK began working in the DRC in 1997. We currently work with children, their communities and local authorities in the provinces of Kinshasa, Kasaï Oriental, North Kivu and South Kivu and the District of Ituri. Our actions are focused around child protection of children affected by armed conflict, protection of abandoned children in urban areas, education and health.
The programme employs around 170 people including 18 international staff and operates in 10 offices throughout the country, where communications and travel are often difficult. Daily security management is under the responsibility of Field Managers.
Due to the urgent nature of this position applications will be reviewed as received and prior to the closing date.
