Chief Security Officer

Role Overview (100 words):
Reporting to the General Council the person in this position will be responsible for expanding the vision and scope of the Global Security Department to create a corporate center of excellence in asset and people protection, intelligence gathering, and business continuity, while maintaining investigations competency. It is critical that the person in this position is skilled at building strong internal and external networks and developing and teaching best practices.
In addition to providing coaching and leadership to the members of the Global Security Department, the Chief Security Officer will be responsible for overseeing and leading Asset Security, People Security, Investigations, Business Continuity, Intelligence and Information Protection
Personal Requirements (100 words):
Bachelors degree or higher and a minimum of ten years experience in a relevant field
Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative leader and change agent
Strong business acumen and strategic orientation
History of being a strong negotiator / facilitator / coordinator and consensus builder
Experience successfully networking and developing working relationships with key individuals, functions, and external agencies
Comfort with a high level of exposure within organization and strong communicator across all levels of an organization
Global perspective, multi-cultural understanding & approach
Must be comfortable leading in a decentralized, Business Unit driven organization
