Good Day All,
Well I've been on here before asking for advice on work for the uk, but I have decided Psd work is the way to go for me. I have completed the Nemesis Group Ltd course have my Licence and looking to deploy out to ME. Armour have offered me convoy, but Im not interested in that. Any good leads peeps would be great as Im looking to deploy ASAP. Only prob is I have no PSD Exp. Ive like most other ex squaddies been to Iraq, and NI & Sierra Leone, all as a Team Comdr with the Infantry. Anyway any info would be very much appreciated. Cheers Mad1 |

CRG were recruiting however you will be required to do their HECPO course. Used to cost £1800 dunno the cost now. Contrary to certain opinion they do not guarantee work. You could also try Aegis.
Good luck |

Unfortunately its quite rare that you,ll get a response from the recruitment addresses.....
Its usually better to try and find out a few names...Head of HR, recruitment etc etc let them know your willing to deploy straight away. Get all your things in order before applying though: e.g. CRB Check, Medical, Innoculations... It my help finding out if any blokes from your regiment (whatever you were in) are working for the company your applying to.. Its not as easy as it once was and you,ll already know that the money isnt as good.....Rumour has it that Aegis will be cutting there 15% Bonus around this time... Im sure if you stick with it though, something will come up, persistance is the best advice... |

Well, I'm afraid I am thinking of going on convoy escorts just to get a job.
I have sent my cv ( which I think is pretty strong) to many CP companies and followed many up with a phone call only to be told " It's all quiet at the moment". I am getting desperate now, so if anyone knows of anyone that is recruiting for convoy escorts I would be grateful for the heads up! Regards AJ |

AG/G4S may be recruiting as AG were seeking bods for convoys (would wait out in that one). Olive also were looking for bods. CRG might be worth a shout if u have mil or police experience. Other than that havent heard much ref employment in the pit, will however keep an ear to the ground.
