Great if you are a US citizen....Under 'general requirements' you must be a US citizen to be eligible. DOS contracts usually rule out anyone other than US citizens.

Great post
I have been looking for this link- lost it from my old lap top a while ago.

I can confirm this is a great organisation BUT any Walters who apply with a year on the doors and a CP badge from Mickey Mouse Security Ltd beware they THOROUGHLY vet you and ONLY the required minimum standard is acceptable and usually the people who apply are well above the declared minimum.

Also anyone under 27 forget it- these jobs are for experienced POL/MilPOL/Tac Meds etc with courses and experience.

Guys if you look at other threads along this line of recruitment - there sre ways around the nationality requirement.
IE - a large number of European and commonwealth guys ARE on the jobs described its all about persistance and skills required.

I have put one guy- from this site- in touch with a recruiter and he arrived on task last monday. He is a UK citizen. He is also highlyskilled in a particular field.

Negativity and 'rolling eyes' are easy.

Being genuinly skilled and employable in certain areas are not.

Just because you want woork doesnt mean you have the skills that are in demand.

I had a particular job spec last week. It was clear about the requirements.

212 applied none had the specified skill area. NONE
All had a 'badge' of varying relevence and a bit of first aid.
Infact they were all pretty much identical- except the ones from a particular training company who all had its logo as a watermark/page header etc bizarre

The CivPOl market is very incestuous and as DYNCORP etc get bigger more UK guys particularly ARE getting on jobs.

I suggets active networking to everyone as much as possible all the time - not E networking.
