Good to meet you all only been on here a couple of weeks now. I am looking for work in the UK or Asia or Russia. Anyone hear of anything let us know.

Found a couple of positions one with Group 4 for US citizen for CP work in Kosovo just goto Group4 website under Risk Management solutions. Big company but pay is always crap with Group 4. G4S

Legion23 are looking for CP's but you need Special forces or Police trained Bodyguards. Small company but 3 males 2 females 1 computer geek. legion23.com

Apparently Bigeyesecurity are hiring 1 or 2 CPOs not sure how accurate that is but ask i suppose Big Eye Security dont know alot about the company.

And finally my mate just got a job with the Anvil Group said they are hiring as they have opportunites worldwide The Anvil Group - again though you must meet strict criteria. Follow instructions when applying to them.

I jst finished a 5 year private contrct and thought 'oh what know'

but i just got offered a two year private contract for a Telecoms CEO..so guys i dont mind sharing whatever info i get...!

By the way....dont worry if you have no military experience guys..it should not put you off. i have no military experience at all. But I worked for a billionaire as his personal BG and now again offered (and accepted) a new position as personal BG for my new client..due to star on 25 June.

well if you are looking for work in Russia you must have valid firearms license and fluent Russian.
Most of close protection officers that are working in Eastern Europe must have valid licenses to carry and use firearms, they also must be trained in martial arts have previous special forces experience (if you want to get good contract) . And also very important they must be multi-linguists..
When i had contract in Lithuanian Republic with businessman,he required 3 bodyguards that where armed ,and from special forces.
So i think if you are looking into contract in Eastern Europe you should find good company out there.

Some people have asked the question: Can i get a job with no military exp?

This is just my personal experience so please don't take this as the be all and end all.

I started in the CP field in 1999. I had no Military experience but got a job as a courier for two large firms in Texas and Montreal. Just delivering documents by hand once a month. I did this for 13 months. Then I applied for a job as a chauffeur with a security backgound. Sold myself in the interview and 5 weeks later was driving around London in a S500 merc. Kept my mouth shut and reported to my clients security team every week ending.

Then 1 year later my client recommends me to his business associate. His bus ass wanted a new BG to escort him to the US and china and Hong kong etc. I did this two week trip and when i got back i was offered the job permanantly. I did just over five and a bit years with him. Then I finished and was unemployed for a few months not really looking as I didnt really know where to look. Then got a phone call from the Largest telecoms company in Mexico asking me to an interview. Had two interviews and heard nothing....then another telecoms company phoned and offered me the job of head of security for their board members and BG for the CEO. So luck and charm and a having the interview technique of a god got me too where i am right now. So good luck guys.
