My client a specialised security provider is currently seeking a FLUENT SPANISH SPEAKER for a role in West Africa.

My client requires a motivated professional risk consultant to be contracted as a Security Risk Management Advisor to support our clients Security Group with planning, preparation and execution of Security Risk Assessments, the evaluation and application of technical security countermeasures and the delivery of security management and advice at the client’s facilities both on and offshore. Risk assessments could be conducted in hostile environments. The candidate will be required to advise senior management on security procedures and policy changes and ensure that these are follow-up to Security Risk Assessment recommendations. The nature and scope of the client’s business practices places the organisation in a unique threat environment. The safety and security of our client’s assets is critical to ensuring the continuity of day-to-day and long-range business operations

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILITIES
Personnel and Executive Protection
• Coordinate the application of security best practices for Executive Protection, including preparation of Advance Survey Reports (ASRs)
• Provide "close-in" (cover and evacuate) protection for the visiting executive in higher threat environments
• Assist in the application of security best practices for personnel protection in higher threat environments
• Provide guidance to LCMs (Lead Country Managers) in determining travel limitations

Risk Management
• Participate in Risk Assessments and Conduct Security Surveys
• Assist Operating Units with implementing recommendations from Risk Assessments and Security Surveys
• Assist with the application of general technical security requirements and specifications
• Provide advice on application of technical and physical security best practices
• Assist with the application of construction phase contractor safeguards and security requirements new programs/projects
• Provide guidance to Operating Units/LCMs in determining threat levels

KEY ROLES/RESPONSIBILTIES
Intelligence
• Prepare investigative plan in accordance with Investigative Best Practice and conduct timely and thorough investigations of irregularities/incidents; ensure incident reporting
• Coordinate investigation process with Audit, Law, Controllers and others, per the investigative matrix
• Provide advice to Operating Unit line management regarding employee and contractor background investigation best practices

KEY COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS
• Assist in effective communication of Corporate Security Expectations, Security Best Practices/Lessons Learned, and Intelligence with regional/local Operating Unit Management and Site Security Contacts within organizations
• Assist Operating Units with implementation of Security Best Practices to ensure protection of personnel, assets and information including enhancements as threat escalates; assist with the development of Security Business Plans
• Assist Operating Units with the implementation of the Site Security Contact Program
• Functional guidance and support of training to SSCs
• Security Program Reviews in place and being conducted
• Searches
• Development of facility security plans
• Assist in Operating Unit compliance with government-legislated and industry requirements; interface with appropriate industry/professional organizations
• Assist with Operating Unit SH&E contacts with integration of security into OIMS (Operation Integrity Management Systems)to ensure the design, deployment and delivery of security services are in accordance with OIMS
• Participate in OIMS assessments
• Conduct periodic Security Program
• Reviews
• Conduct Security Surveys
• Apply Best Practices for Guard Force Management and assist line management with identifying opportunities to reduce guard force costs
• Provide guidance on the appropriate application of MPI guidelines (Management and Protection of Information
• Assist with tracking of security costs in regional/local business unit organizations (e.g. cost of technical security systems, badge manufacture, maintenance)
• Coordinate security involvement in projects and MOC (Management of Change) processes
• Emergency Response
• Participate in Emergency Response groups and deployments as directed by Emergency Management program
• Assist in development of evacuation plans
• Provide support for business continuity plans
• Operations

In return my client offers a one year contract, on a 30 day out 30 day back rotation, all food accommodation and transport are paid by the client, all travel is via British Airway Business Class, as well as all insurance and medical whilst in country.
