Major Responsibilities (essential job functions, scope of the job etc.):
Scope
The Security Specialists assigned to Executive Protection are responsible for the protection of company officers as they conduct official Monsanto business anywhere in the world.
Responsibilities
The security specialists primary responsibilities are as follows:
  • perform effective protection measures to insure the security of the CEO on company business
  • Serve on the protective team, as Lead Advance agent, or as the Detail Leader on protective assignments
  • Coordinate protective details through the Manager of Executive Protection
  • Conduct advances
  • Provide personal protection
  • Foster an environment of trust and confidence through exemplary integrity and professionalism
  • Travel as necessary to provide protection and conduct advances;
  • Provide safe and secure ground transportation for company officers within the greater St. Louis area
  • Prepare appropriate documentation
Secondary responsibilities to support the Global Security mission are as follows:
Conduct investigations
Conduct Security Vulnerability Assessments
Conduct training
Support site operations through assignments to augment the uniformed patrol
Other duties as deemed appropriate. *Successful completion of a post offer fitness test is required for employment in this position.
Required Skills:
Required Skills/Experience:
This role requires the incumbent to be physically fit, able to travel extensively as necessary, work long hours, and carry luggage or other materials required for the mission. Must be able to physically detain, move, or arrest violent or aggressive individuals and make instant decisions regarding the wellbeing of the protected executive. Must understand personal protection concepts and have experience in international and domestic travel. Must be able to move quickly, run, pull, push, lift, bend, twist, climb, sit, stand, and squat. Must be a communicator in all aspects (written, verbal, and able to present and lead large groups). Must be able to interact professionally with personnel from other world areas and cultures and present concepts and ideas in a reasonable and logical manner. Must be self motivating, able to work without supervision, and understand security concepts and theories.
Ideal Candidate:
A background in executive protection, law enforcement, investigations, organization, time management, task completion, and physical asset security is recommended.
Bachelors Degree or commensurate technical training is preferred.

col.burtonpsd is on a distinguished road
even though the post stated anywhere in the world,are they sponsoring the work permit? if not how do you get around the point that you must have a green card to work long term in the states?with that in mind i am pretty sure that they go only for us citizens or legal residents...


any other thoughts on that?
