CPO - Capetown Area

There is a possible requirement for a CPO in the Capetown area for a four month period. (Commencing post 20th of this month)

I say possible as my first option is to send a UK sia trained operator with the client, however would prefer to have a mixed two man team and local area knowledge is invaluable.

The following requirements are mandatory;

1. Former Police or Military experience.(min 5 years)
2. No criminal record.
3. Extensive local knowledge of the Capetown and surrounding areas.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Age 25 - 45 years.

We currently have two UK CPO candidates in mind, who have knowledge of the RSA, however again if you feel you could fit this role again PM me, with that in mind, the following is required;

1. A current SIA licence (in the post or just coming next week isn't sufficent)
2. An excellent working knowledge of the RSA.
3. Excellent interpersonal Skills.
4. Age 25-45 years (as specified by client)
5. Former Police or Military Background. (min 5 years)
6. Current Passport.

Important note- This is a four month project with NO rotation for the UK CPO, you will not be working everyday, and on some days the hours will vary. The rate and per diem will be fixed.

Just to explain from the Private Messages I have received, I fully understand that the sia license is only for UK operators and Yes I understand that the SIA does not license South Africa. Hence only the UK operator is required to be licensed and the operator in place in Capetown has only to fill the numbered requirements.

Sorry Jerome?? I think you maybe failed the first part of Selection, ie Opsec or Persec, this is not the place, as has already been pointed out to you, to post a CV containing personal details. I would follow the advice given and remove this ASAP...if not sooner!

First of all thank you for using the report post function which alerted me to this indiscretion.

Now Jerome, as all have mentioned above, not only have you posted a complete CV but also contact details of referees. Now if I was one of those referees, right now I would be annoyed and your lack of PERSEC, after all this is the security business you wish to work in and right now I would feel inclined not to trust you with confidential information which would mean ultimately I would not consider you for future employment.
