Hi all

I have looked into this further as UN jobs are always interesting and varied, I have found out the following for any interested parties, but don't hold any further info.

The package includes

Basic Salary ranges from 38000 USD - 50000 USD depending on experience & quals

It is based in Arusha so there is also a daily allowance of about USD 144 per day

Includes education allowances for kids etc

Mate,

I've applied for the UN many months ago and it seems common that they tend to take their time in responding! Have a mate that's working with them in Afghan and he waited 10 months for a reply - then he was told if he wanted the job to be ready in 3 weeks! This is all subject to medicals (full medical) and many tests and interviews.

So, still worthwhile applying but just don't expect a quick response!!! It is, however, in many cases a guaranteed job/career.

no worries mate. 1st, you must create a profile. when you do this you must fill the form in online - i don't believe you can download it. it is quite extensive..!! good luck.
