Avon & Somerset Police have 2 vacancies for the following position:

Surveillance SUPPORT OPERATIVE - REF 178/08

To be based out of the Avon & Somerset Police Headquarters the successful applicants will be expected to gather intelligence and evidence using covert Surveillance techniques. The individuals will develop and assist in the deployment of covert operations, when required. They will also provide specialist support to major incidents, again when required.

To be successful in this role you must be computer literate and hold a full UK current driving licence. Experience of surveillance and photography work is desirable.

Confidentiality is essential in this role as are flexibility in the hours worked.

The successful candidates will undergo an enhanced security clearance for this position.
