lads.....
i emailed the company as i already have my badge and visa is still current. they came back to me this morning and we all have the same story - MOI..... this is good news as they are obviously going through the correct procedures. it is difficult to gain entry to baghdad vithout badges or visa (in fact they often send you back) and i actually had to fly into basra, pay for my own visa, pay for my own internal flight to baghdad and still got the fk around in the BIAP because the company i was with forgot i was coming..... soooooo...!! i think we'll be grand...!!!! i thought we all had to be in country by saturday though and therefore, i'm packed and squared away..! bag ready for grabbing... expect a wee fast ball..!!! chooooooooooooooooo, andy. |

Mate..!! I love the rain..!! And - you'll be praying for a drop of it in a weeks time - it won't come..!! It's exactly what Billy Connelly says - there is no such thing as bad weather - it is people in the wrong clothes...lol
But I hear you - looking forward to getting into it - can't wait actually...! Chooooooooooooooo, Andy. |

No their is no requirements such as sia for thouse shit places..(pardon my French)
SIA is only required for UK & Wales. However some British pmc companies operating in the hostile enivronments do ask for this, but there is no request its just some companies asking for it. Medical skills and be able to run, when the rockets are flying is more of a requirement or atleast should be.. Cheers hawk |

think for OPSEC badging information are irevelent to this particular question unless you have been offered work with a goverment or company abroad then you will know already thier badge requirements . and if you are a CPO in the UK you should already know the laws in regards to UK sia badging law

sorry for being out of the loop for a little while guys.. been in Africa (still here as a matter of fact) for a week and internet access is occasional at best..
most of you should have your LOA (US Military Orders) and MOI (permission from the Iraqi government to enter the country) by now. All we are waiting on at this point is for the US Government to give permission for you all to enter the country and start work. I think a few of you are still waiting on the Iraqis to do their bit.. until that happens, the US Government is holding on the start order. I was told yesterday that the final paperwork would be in before the weekend is over.. of course when dealing with Iraqis.. that really doesnt mean anything other than there is a good chance that they will be done very soon (hopefully before the weekend is over)... Insh Allah.. |
