EODT is currently hiring for Static Security positions in Iraq, and is specifically looking for persons from the UK and/or other commonwealth countries right now.

Pay is roughly $10K (US) monthly.

you must:

be 25+ years of age

have 4+ years of military or law enforcement experience

Just to inform you guys. The job isnt STATIC!! that is left to the Ugandans. Its to be part of the Internal Mobile Patrol (IMP) 12 hours shifts patrolling inside Camp Victory, Baghdad. WITH skope to be possibly taking over from the US Army and patrolling outside the wire.......WORD OF WARNING!!! if you for whatever reason do NOT wanna have the possibility of going outside patrolling to the streets of Baghdad, then have a serious long hard thing about it........because the talk sounds very POSITIVE..

least the food is good on Victory. chicks at the pool, and its not one of the desolate sites stuck in the desert,but on a serious note everyone entering the hostile arena security World be it CP/PSD veterans or newbies must all weigh up the risks pro/cons to where they will be working, and the company, operators package and gear rotations etc they get ....and the risks,

I will give you all a quick brief on the risks and threats to this job. You are inside Camp Victory which if you take away the bulls**t that comes with yanks camps is very good...We have access to all gyms and Defacs (galleys) the Aussie pool, which i was laying round yesterday and will be doing the same in a couple of hours is very nice.......
The incidents inside the base are few and far between but does come under IDF from time to time.....BUT DONT FORGET WHERE YOU ARE!! there is no time for complacency.

Take it from me, if you want a job with minimal risk and half decent money then this post is for you......If you want excitement and be getting the rounds down then forget it!
Be aware that the rotations are 12 on 4 off. NOT payed on time off!

A FINAL WORD. WE HAVE BEEN TOLD THAT WE ARE TO BE PATROLLING OUTSIDE THE CAMP AND ACTING AS A QRF AS THEY STAND DOWN THE YANKS. BUT THIS IS IN NO WAY CONCRETE AND WE'RE STILL WAITING OUT!! IT WILL BE A LONG TIME YET

They have...I got my offer yesterday but wasn't able to take it now due family things...hopefully they are hiring again when I come back to Iraq after my leave. I am from "neutral country" and EODT has people from many European countries as well.
