hay there guys just a quick message in reply to what 'silverback' has posted on this work goin in coventry. This is a ex employee who turned up on the job with a stinking attitude demanding things when he had been here 2min. He was let go after a weeks work because he wanted an extra day off where it was not possible as there was no notice given, he replied i'm having it off no matter what so doing what every other employer would of done he was told to do one. don't listen to what is said and if you have any concerns or questions give me a call and i can put them straight to bed. many thanks,

Nice reply sam i wont even go down the line of petty slagging i was just giving the heads up to the other folks on the site of what the work entails and whats the score was/is down there

its 100 per day with BKSS it takes the piss abit but i mean like it states above its till xmas and its better then nothing but most of the guys are only D/S badged or just even basic security badge it is not a CP roll but SM is a nice guy and i hope to get this work that he has lined up after

Folks,

Not trying to get into a 'contact' with anyone here especially not my old mate SB, but if the task is 100 a day as stated above then it is a really good opportunity for those who really need the work.

Be mindful of what Silver has said, it will be long hours , self sufficient work and little time off and perhaps a degree of inflexibility . Thanks for the heads up in that respect SB .... also remember that Sam has responded to SB , so he is not shrinking away from the critique.....

Almost every task I have worked over the past number of years are similar in nature in that they do not allow for a 9-5 weekends off rotation, SB did the right thing in letting them know in advance of his commitments.... I can see that a mixed communication might have caused an oversight... but that is the way this industry goes sometimes.

SB has resigned , has given a heads up on the task and hasn't biffed about it. Seems well enough paid as a stop gap , as Sam has said there may be more in the pipeline.... obviously it is cash that many here could do with , especially some who have been looking for work for some time.

Just my thoughts....

my post was not aimed at slagging poeple off it was a insite into the task that is going on there sam is a good man and a nice bloke and not the man at the top calling the shots. i am guessing he took my post the wrong way this morning when he read it
