In addition, Silverback7 has been awarded a contract for Military Advisors for overseas (Iraq) deployment to support U.S. Military and Coalition Forces to produce and distribute reports on information gathered from the local population.
The successful applicant needs a minimum of ten (10) years’ experience in supervising complex and challenging field operations in unstable, developing countries. Former military Special Forces and ASOT experience a plus.
Professional knowledge and experience required in one or more of the following fields: military operations, conflict stabilization, counterinsurgency (COIN) techniques, foreign internal defense (FID), and intelligence. Requires excellent interpersonal and communications skills to effectively liaise with senior U.S. military officers and staff while being culturally sensitive to Iraqi counterparts. US Interim SECRET security clearance mandatory.

Description SUMMARY: Monitors work and activities of local national workers. Escorts have full responsibility for Local Nationals (LN’s) in their charge. This includes general oversight for performance of work, proper use of tools, and enforcement of safety adherence. Escorts must ALWAYS have their LNs within their line of sight.

KNOWLEDGE: General knowledge of the job being monitored. Able to recognize correct performance of job duties.

MIN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: High School diploma or equivalent. Two years active duty military, public safety, commercial security or construction experience. Good Verbal communications. Able to communicate clearly using two-way radio.

SKILLS & ABILITIES: Able to remain on feet up to 4 hours, climb ladders, use fall protection equipment and wear protective clothing for observed jobs.
